In light of all that is happening in Haiti, I am feeling like a real shit for griping about my life. Sure, between losing Peyton and this latest blow, I feel like my world has come tumbling down, but for the poor people of Haiti, their world has literally come tumbling down all around them. When my world crashed down, there were people and services available to help me through. For the people of Haiti, there are no services.
Tonight I am focusing my prayers on all the victims of the earthquake in Haiti, and their families, especially those who have not been able to connect with one another. The numbers coming across on the news are so indescribably huge. I pray that with the break of day, a brighter picture can be painted for the people of Haiti. Please join me in keeping them in your thoughts.

There are mnany many more unfortunate than us. I thank God each day because I am able to walk and hold things in my hands. I am able to see, hear smell and taste. I am able to get up and go to work and cook myslef a meal. I have people who love me and who I love back. These are all my blessings in life. Hugssss

I remember my son when he was 4 weeks old and I cannot imagine how it would have been if I had to lose him then...I had him with me for nearly 4 years.

They are all in my thoughts and I am heartbroken for the people of Haiti.
I've been thinking the same thing...my funk from last week has lifted somewhat and I've been convicted that I get so wrapped up in 'things' and circumstances that I just don't see what God has given us and what we have because of his great mercy. We have JESUS!
I hope you know it's okay to struggle with these things, though.
We can still be sad and struggle with the realities of our own lives and pain, and we can hurt for the Haitian people and focus on what we can do for them, even if it's simply prayer.

I have had to censor myself and only watched the news the first day because I was so affected by those still frames of wounded children in the streets. My heart breaks for so many strangers.
I'm thinking of you today, hoping that this initial fertility meeting brings you some sparkle of hope and forward direction.
It was really healing for me to talk to that guy about why I read your blog. I had a good cry and felt a few moments of relief for the rest of that day. I hope our wombs are both full of life at some point in the not too distant future.
They are in my thoughts. And it is never shit to grieve your own pain/loss even when others have pain/loss as well. Being able to empathize with the people of Haiti and grieve with/for the people of Haiti in the middle of your own grief is a wonderful showing of the type of person you are, caring, good, kind, courageous.
