The ornament is beautiful, and would be a perfect addition to our tree. I think that some of the kids I work with are as close as I can get to real life angels. They are so innocent and loving, and surprisingly, have played a bit role in me getting through the last few months.
My living son has been my angel in all this.
The Angel is absolutely beautiful. :) This may sound cliche, but my husband has been my real life angel. He never gets sick of seeing my great range of emotions and is there for me in every way. We have have had our ups and downs this year especially after loosing Jonathan and I couldn't imagine having a better "angel" by my side.
Oh, I love this ornament! This would be a great memento to remember my angels with.

She is beautiful...
I have had so many real life angels, it's hard to pick just one. When I became hospitalized at 26 weeks so Madelyn could be monitored, many of the nurses were angels. One in particular knew about a month in I was getting sick of the food, and she would bring me something better to eat anytime I wanted.
When Madelyn was born and we knew she wasn't going to live long, the nurse on staff that night was an angel. We didn't know what to do or how to handle this - it was not what we expected. She organized everything, called NILMDTS, so many things we would have missed out on without her.
Finally, my husband has been the biggest angel of all. Without him, I would not have survived this awful nightmare.
This is a great question. I had to think about it for a while, but I would say it is a high school friend of mine who lives in FL that I had not spoken to for a long time. Just connected with her via FB about a year ago. Found out that she had been going through lots of TTC issues. 2 failed IVFs, miscarriage and finally she conceived naturally. She has given me a lot of hope and encouragement. We have chatted over the phone and as I pursue IVF next year, she has been a huge help.

As for a "real life angel" this past year, undoubtedly it was my dog. She has been here for me every day, giving me hugs when I need it and letting me cry and hold on to her and snuggles up to me in bed. She's the reason I got out of bed every morning even though goodness knows I did not want to most of the time. She is the reason I did anything other than stay in bed for the bulk of this year. She's the only reason I've had any real smiles all year.... When we got her... her name was violet. I didn't think she looked like a violet, so I began to search for names and their meanings. When I came across the name Emma and it's meaning " Healer of the Universe" I knew that was her name, and while she may not really heal the universe she makes my little space in the universe a little less difficult. :)

The angel is a beautiful gift. I took some time to read through your blog and read about your Peyton. She is so beautiful. I lost my son Patrick to SIDs at 10 wks, on October 15th 2008. I'm sure Peyton was there to guide him into heaven.

My DP has been the one person who I know I can lean on in any situation.... He has proven himself time and time again over the past several months. I am so thankful that he can be sensitive, yet so strong all at the same time. This experience has definately brought us closer, not only as a couple, but as a family. I know that I can rely on him for absolutely anything and I will be forever thankful. I definately couldn't have gotten to this point without his support and strength.
It's beautiful Kristin. As for angels, they've been all around me. They are the other babylost mamas, my daughter, kind strangers, my son's doctors...I could go on and on. Most of all, my angel is Calvin, always with me.

There are 2 people that I am very thankful for in my journey with Carleigh. First, my bff Lindsey. She has been there from the beginning. She was with me during my US and was there for me not long after we found out. She was there for her birth taking videos. She's a true friend.
The other person is my friend Ashley. Before Carleigh's birth I only knew her online. We had known each other online since March 2008. She was present through my whole labor and delivery taking pictures. She took so many wonderful pictures that I wouldn't have otherwise. She spent a night away from her family and with virtual strangers to give to me. It's something I will never forget.
what a beautiful angel. I read through som of your blog... the bah humbug post hit home. I just knew last year that I would have a beautiful 9 month old. I bought him a snowman outfit to take pictures for ou Christmas card... it hangs in my closet. I reminder of my foolishness. I knew that he had a life threatening illness, and somehow just knew he owuld be in the 50% of babies that lived. (he was diagnosed with congenital diaphragmatic hernia at 19 weeks gestation) But instead, I had to bury my Maxton after 18 days on this earth... SO NOT FAIR! I normally love Christmas, but this year... all the things I love about it... they just don't seem right.

What a lovely ornament. I think my angel has been my best friend. My husband has had the CRAZIEST work schedule this year and Jennifer has always been here when I needed another adult.
What a beautiful Angel. I would have to say that my Husband and my teenage children have many times been my angels on earth.
Lovely!! The people IRL that have lost children of their own have been my angels. Unfortunately there are too many. The first person who truly understod what I was experiencing was my daughter's pre-school teacher last year and being able to talk to her and seeing that she had lived through this hell helped me in so many ways.

A precious angel!My preemie daughter died many years ago, but I still hold her dear to my heart. There have been many angels to me this year - Kelly of Sufficient Grace Ministries,Stephanie of My Very Own Angel, Lea with her Angel Wings - there are other women who have also embraced me this year and I appreciate every single gesture that has been made to validate the fact that my little girl is not forgotten. Please accept my sincerest sympathy about your dear Peyton.

That is a precious ornament! My angel (besides Dylan, of course) is my husband. He's been my rock through everything that we've experienced, and I cannot imagine if I had to face this without him by my side.
What a beautiful ornament. Thank you for asking us to tell about an angel, because it made me realize how lucky I am to have so many people in my life who care about me, and my family. A new perspective is always helpful when Im feeling down. If I had to pick one person, ti would be my son, who is my reason for keepin'on-keepin'on, and the light of my life.
By the way, you are an angel for creating "Doing Good in Her Name", and helping so many others.

Love the ornament! I believe my earthly angel is my rainbow baby. It has been a rough few years and finally for once I am able to smile through the tears.
My sister has been my angel in so many ways, I'll never be able to repay her. She's my best friend!
I've had many angels this year. We've struggled financially but friends have gathered round and taken care of us. We are blessed.
My angel is my mom. She is always there when I need her.
