We had an interesting day here yesterday. K learned to roll over! This would be fabulous news, had he not completely scared the heck out of me when he did it. I am used to placing the babies down for a moment here or there to run to the bathroom, grab some water etc. I expect to find them exactly as I left them when I return so you can imagine my surprise when I found my face up boy had gone face down! It was only for a moment, and he seemed no worse for the wear - smiling right through it, but Momma had the scare of her life. Thank goodness for head control! I can't believe how quickly these little ones are growing!

Our hope is that these books will help to make the stay for these families a little more pleasant. The books are for children of all ages, as they can be read to NICU patients, and their siblings. At the end of their stays, they will be welcome to take the books home with them. We are collecting books through June and are still quite a far ways out from our goal. I am blessed to already have my Rainbow,Hope, but I have a dear friend expecting hers. She is about to find out if the baby is a boy or girl. This book would be a great place to record her journey. Thanks for the giveaways!
Our first son was stillborn at 28 weeks in 2006, no cause found. Our first rainbow daughter was born healthy in 2007 and she is 3.5 years old now. We had a miscarriage at 13 weeks in 2008, no cause found. We are now almost 21 weeks pregnant with our second, much longed for rainbow, another little boy, who we just found out may not live... He has several heart defects and some other physical symptoms flagging a possible chromosome syndrome. We're currently awaiting the amnio results. I don't even have words for the way it feels to be facing the reality that we might be burying another child. This would be a wonderful keepsake, no matter how long or short our sweet little boy's life is.
Though I am not currently expecting...I am ttc so this will be nice when I am.

Our son was born still at 26 weeks. I have been on a journey of healing for about 31 weeks now and I am just starting to be able to share my story with those beyond my immediate family. Alexander has changed my life completely; and I will never be the same!
I would love this book! we have been ttc for about a year, so we are just patiently waiting :)
I wish I woulda thought about doing a journal with my pregnancies. That would be a nice addition to a scrapbook, even though I didn't think of those either. haha.

After multiple losses, our DD is expecting our first grandbaby in August. This would make a lovely gift for her.
